I just have one thing on my task list at this point:
1. Make links for reviews by title and author--I have no idea how long this will take, but I like it when blogs have this and I've always wanted to add my own. I don't even know yet how many book reviews I've done over the last few years.
And I also have a SECRET list. Things I want to get done but may not actually have the skills to do. So if I fail, no one will know about it.
Other than that, I want to be open-ended and check out the challenges, visit other blogs, and mostly just learn about a lot of stuff that I am currently ignorant of. Some of the to-do lists I've read so far seem like a foreign language, which I should be ashamed of in light of the fact that I've been blogging for few years. So my focus during this Bloggiesta is to
Explore and Learn
(and eat).
Good luck and have fun! I hope the secret list works. :D
ReplyDeleteSo glad that I am not the only one with a secret list. Let's both cross our fingers!
ReplyDeleteHappy Bloggiesta! Hope you're having as good a time as I am!

ReplyDeleteGood luck on your secret list. I do hope you share. If its any consolation I did not get half my goals accomplished last Bloggiesta.
Shellie :)
Good luck accomplishing all your goals for the Bloggiesta.
ReplyDeleteI want to add links by author and title too. Right now everything I have is just archived by week/month and it is impossible for me, let alone anyone else, to find stuff. Good luck with the Bloggiesta. I'm busy with other things this weekend but plan to have my own marathon blog improvement session in the near future.
ReplyDeleteThat is what I am working on and thinking it is going to take me all weekend LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of the "Secret List" - I should have created one, since I know there's stuff I won't ever get to...
ReplyDeleteI think you should be open to asking for help for things you really want to do, but are not sure how to do them. I'm sure someone would be willing to help!
ReplyDeleteThe links for reviews by Title and Author is a really good idea. I'm contemplating linking my reviews like this (maybe just one--not both).
I'm glad you like George Eliot! I gave Middlemarch a try a few years ago and gave up after Book 4 so I'm trying again with a few people in an informal read-a-long (on Literary Lollipop).
Also, thanks for visiting my blog, A Little Bookish!
I would think your review lists will keep you busy for a while. Good luck with the secret list - I have a few of those too. :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Shelley
ReplyDeleteYours was the first blog I came across when I started looking at book blogs a few months ago. For interest and clarity at a glance Book Clutter is a delight.
A few months in on my own blogging journey and I amazed and bamboozled by all of the gadgets and layout features one can apply to their blog. But it is wonderful fun giving it a go.
Hope you have a great weekend.
Good luck with the bloggiesta. Have fun with it! :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your secret list! Having a list of reviews is definitely a good idea.
ReplyDeleteVery nice and so feminin. Congratulation, Shelley!

Thank you for your lovely comment, and I hope you're able to achieve your goals too - even the secret ones, which I have a few of myself ;)
ReplyDeleteGlad I'm not the only one to have a "secret" list! =) But in order for me to begin that list, I must do other housekeeping things first. Here's to a productive weekend!
ReplyDeletelol, I had to laugh:) I have a secret list also. But I have to get all my main stuff done before I can get to the secret stuff.
ReplyDeleteGood luck this weekend!

I have a secret list as well, but am trying so hard to get everything on my posted list done, first. Of course, each time I come to a new blog, I find something else to add to the list! I really like the idea of linking reviews by title and author, but am realizing that with this as well as a few other items on my list, i might need to rethink my layout first.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with both your lists!
