My First Reading Challenge Finished!

I just realized that I have completed the "To Be Read" Challenge hosted by Mizbooks! The goal for this one was to pick 12 books that you have wanted to read for a while but haven't quite gotten to yet (which in reality is in the hundreds!). I ended up reading some from my original list of 12 and some of my alternates. Here's a rundown of what I read, listed from favorite to least favorite:

  2. Ohh, I have The Handmaid's Tale and A Tree Grows in Brooklyn coming up in my reading list, too. Glad to see you enjoyed them! Of course, I also have Snow Flower and the Secret Fan and I see it's further down the list and I would put The Known World on the bottom of any list I was making, too. So that's a little worrying ;>).

  3. Way to go Shelley! You are so awesome. Are you liking Life of Pi? Also looking at this reminds me to find Mrs. Piggle Wiggle for you.

  4. Julie,
    Thanks for the congrats!
    Kristi,
Snow Flower would have been higher on my list minus a few parts I was uncomfortable with. I liked all of them really except for The Known World.
    Christina,
I loved Life of Pi in the beginning, but now I'm a bit bored with the details of the voyage! I hope it picks back up again.

  5. Woo Hoo!! Congratulations! It feels good to get some of those done, doesn't it? Not that we don't just fill up the space with more. . . :-)
