I also loved Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle and have been thinking a lot lately about hunting up some of Betty MacDonald's humorous books for adults like Onions In The Stew, The Egg and I, and the Plague and I.
I loved Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle when I was a kid! I still remember her upside-down house and her growing radishes (or turnips?) in the dirt behind the ears of the little girl who refused to bathe. Ew!
I love your four-word review. I loved that book as a kid too!
