Where are you reading from today?
So Cal
3 facts about me …
This one is really hard at five in the morning, but I'll try to just spit three things out:
1. I like to make things, anything, from scratch.
2. I watch documentaries when I'm stressed.
3. I like to watch exercise videos while eating.
How many books do you have in your TBR pile for the next 24 hours?
Four main ones:
The Brothers Karamozov by Fyodor Dostoevsky
Anne's House of Dreams by L.M. Montgomery
Trouble by Gary D. Schmidt
Cranford by Elizabeth Gaskell
Do you have any goals for the read-a-thon (i.e. number of books, number of pages, number of hours, or number of comments on blogs)?
I have no goals! Just trying to have a good time.
If you’re a veteran read-a-thoner, Any advice for people doing this for the first time?
Do it your way--whether it be intense or easy-going. Both can be fun. I'm already expecting to nap (after only five hours of sleep last night!)
Good Luck! Go Team Woodsworth! ---Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteI am loving reading the memes! Good luck for Daylon!
Good luck!!! Have fun! Found ur blog, and now I'm following you!
ReplyDeleteTraditional read-a-thon blessing:
ReplyDeleteMay the bookshelf be there to greet you.
May all the books appeal.
May the fridge be full of tasty snacks;
the words fall soft upon your eyes and until the read-a-thon ends,
may you always hold a book in the palm of your hand.
Good luck today!
I have The Brothers Karamozov on my TBR. What translation do you have? You can tell me after the read a thon. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you.
Hey Shelley - thanks for your comment - good for you for supporting people in your community - the best gift is giving isn't it? I adore all the Anne of Green Gable books - I read and re-read them heaps in my youth :)
