I had to try it . . .

I haven't read anything by him yet, but apparently I write like him:

I write like
Chuck Palahniuk
I Write Like by Mémoires, Mac journal software. Analyze your writing!

Off to the library I guess!

  1. I got Dan Brown, Issac Asimov, and Kurt Vonnegut when I put in different writing samples. Apparently I need to read more science fiction!

  2. That's kind of scary...since his writing is very "unique" and sometimes very disturbing.

  3. Kim,
If I have a chance, I should try a few different posts. Who knows what will come up!

    Serena,
I'm concerned now! I must have a dark side lurking within. I'm going to try again and hope for L.M. Montgomery or something!

  4. I was suprised to find I write like Margaret Atwood. Well, I knew it wouldn't be like Murakami. ;)

I wonder if we kept taking the test if we'd keep getting different authors whose writing we resemble? Still, these kind of 'personality' tests thrill me.

  5. Bellezza,
I love Atwood's writing! I would take that as quite a compliment. I did do a few tries after this post, and got a few different results, with a continuous theme of horror writing. I'm wondering if my blog has an evil vibe that I'm not aware of!

  7. I did this thing too and got four different authors every time before I finally quit! Not sure what this says about my writing! This Chuck guy was one of them, and I too have no idea who he is.

  8. Donna,
Somehow I missed thanking you for the award! I will pass it on soon!

    Peaceful Reader,
That seems like an oxymoron--the Peaceful Reader who writes like Stephen King!

    Suey,
I started wondering if it was just randomly putting authors out there. At least I'm not the only one who got dear old Chuck!
